From the day I wrote about my Canada tourist visa (TRV) experience, I got many comments and feedback. Some people were asking questions and some were appreciating me for the valuable article I have written. This article in the last few years has helped many people who are going to file a tourist visa to Canada or waiting for their results.
If you go through all the comments on that article, you will find that many people were asking what letter formats I used for filling out my visa application and it would be good If I could provide them my formats for references.
This is the reason, I am writing this article to provide different letter formats and other useful formats for reference. You can modify them as per your requirement and can submit your application.
Note: Please don’t request to check your letters and proofread them. I won’t be able to do that due to time constraints.

If I don’t have any invitation letter , and any friends, can i visit on the basis of trade show tickets which is related with my profession , and bank balance is 4000CAD , should I apply on the basis of the free one day trade show tickets ? If yes than please guide me for cover letter .

I am Planning to visit Canada for 12 to 15 days. I have 5.5 Lacs in my Saving Account. I have credit cards having credit limits about 5.5 Lacs. and I am working as Sr. Developer in Reputed Company having strength of 500+ employees. and I am getting 50K per month as salary. I have my ITR and PF document. But, I don’t have any Property asset to show. the Property document is on my Fathers name. as they are dependent on me. Apart from this I have Invitation Letter, Flight Tickets, Travel Itinerary, Plan of Visit, cover letter. is all the things are sufficient or do i need to add some thing else to make my case stronger. Please Guide me.

Hi Vishal,
I am not an expert, but the documents are sufficient. Along with the above-said documents, also get a leave approval letter and certificate that you are a full-time employee.
With that said, property document is just a nice to have one, if you don’t have a property it is ok, but please make sure you have a good reason to visit Canada keeping in mind the current situation where everything is on halt.

I don’t think it will help. Do include other relevant documents from your sponsor, like PR card, passport, etc.

I am a permanent resident of Canada. My parents applied for visitor’s visa last year. But unfortunately their visa rejected. Reason of refusal was strong ties in Canada as I am the only child of my parents and no previous travel history. My father is a retired businessman and mother is a home maker. They showed around CAD 85,000 and their house papers. I want to reapply for their visa. What back home strong ties I can show that they can get their visa.

Money looks sufficient, I think you will have to write a strong cover letter mentioning all their relation in India and how they are important.
I hope you included your parent’s return-ticket and itinerary while submitting their visa application.

i have only 4 lack money with me in liquid and invest in LIC AND ppf fund. if i am applying for canada tourist visa . should i take help from father for funds or for property which will be divided into 3 brothers. i mean affidavit for support.

Why to include your past refusal on the Cover letter? Just mention that in the application. The cover letter is to show/tell the immigration officer your strengths.

Hi Bhavik,
There are no such guidelines. Though on average, I think you should have 1200 CAD per person (That’s only my take on it). The more amount you show, the more strong is your profile. They should be sure that you have enough money for traveling and coming back.
